The sculpture stands approximately 7" tall on a 4.5" diameter transparent, smoke colored, smooth cast glass domed base. The smoke color provides increased contrast for the etching.

The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation medallion and recipient's name are etched into the sculpture's domed base, just forward of center in front of the spire attachment point. The graceful and dynamic blown glass hollow spire supporting the 3.5" diameter blown glass Earth curves gently around the lower hemisphere.

As is the case with all of our creations, each sculpture is an individual; hand-crafted with care by American Craftsmen. While adhering to the overall concept, it will exhibit slight variations in size and shape; allowing the personality that can only be born in a handmade work of art to emerge and shine through.
